I hope everyone had a wonderful, blessed Easter. We had a
glorious, quiet day at home this year. No chocolate, no jelly beans, healthy
dinner for 4 (recipes to be posted later this week!) and thrifty outfits. Deviled eggs, Lamb chops., prosciutto wrapped
asparagus, Fresh string beans with Dijon-dill sauce, “smashed” parsnips and
turnips, and for dessert , Mixed berry
trifle with flourless chocolate cake and whipped cream. It was delicious.
Dinner by Katie, Dessert by yours truly.

The table. Pay no attention to that cat in the corner. Tablecloth credit goes to my grandmother. Dishes and silver service all inherited down through the years. |
